Paths and Trails
Verrado was designed to take advantage of the beautiful desert vistas and mountains that surround our community. At last count, there are more than 21 miles of paths and trails where residents and visitors in the Phoenix and Buckeye region can get away from it all. Miles of pathways span the community, connecting neighborhoods to one another for easy walking, running, or biking. Additional trails venture out from our community into the White Tank Mountains, letting you explore the landscape and beautiful flora and fauna of the Sonoran Desert.

White Tank Mountain Regional Park
Verrado is nestled into the foothills of Maricopa County’s largest park, the spectacular and rugged White Tank Mountain Regional Park. The White Tanks encompass a massive 30,000 acres of Phoenix and Buckeye, with more than 20 miles of shared-use trails for hiking, mountain biking, running, and equestrian.
Residents and visitors also enjoy the Nature Center and Library in White Tank Mountain Regional Park, filled with resources and programs that help parents and kids alike experience and interact with the environment. Through engaging special events like snake feedings and animal spotlighting adventures, the park and its programs make it easy for residents to get in touch with nature, and the wildlife that surrounds them.
